Job Title: Controller
Position Overview
Inabia is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Controller to oversee the company’s day-to-day financial operations and support administrative business functions. This role is responsible for managing accounting processes, payroll, billing, tax filings, and office administration, while also supporting customer relationships and contract documentation.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in handling both finance and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage company accounting activities using QuickBooks Online
- Process and run payroll through ADP Workforce Now
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions
- Prepare invoices, monitor billing cycles, and follow up on outstanding payments
- Handle monthly and quarterly tax filings and maintain compliance with applicable regulations
- Draft, review, and maintain Statements of Work (SOWs) and related business documents
- Support general administrative office operations and recordkeeping
- Maintain positive and professional customer relationships through timely communication and follow-up
- Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal documentation
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and organization of financial and operational records
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or controller-level responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and ADP Workforce Now
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, AR, AP, billing, and tax coordination
- Experience preparing or supporting monthly and quarterly tax filings
- Ability to draft and manage SOWs and other business documents
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in a staffing, consulting, or professional services environment
- Understanding of client billing, contractor payroll, and compliance processes
