Position Summary:
The Corporate Controller is primarily responsible for implementing and personally testing appropriate controls to ensure compliance with accounting processes. The Corporate Controller is also responsible for budgeting, analyzing data, and record-keeping, as well as financial reporting to higher management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directs North American and International Controllers to ensure the departmental goals are met.
- Oversees Accounting department to ensure that month-end and year-end closings are accurate and timely.
- Reviews month-end operating and quarterly capital budgets to ensure accuracy. Creates summary of operating budgets for senior management.
- Creates and updates monthly Sales and Recruiting reports for senior management.
- Creates and updates annual Revenue Projections for all countries.
- Works with Department heads and Budget Analyst to create annual operating, capital, and travel budgets.
- Works with Tax Manager to calculate quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Generates and analyzes reports for management, as needed.
- Remains current with existing accounting regulations and changes for effective application and compliance in all countries.
- Collects funds from all booths and kiosks for company’s two major events and readies them for daily armored car pickup.
- Oversees financial recordkeeping and reporting for all affiliated entities.
- Complies with company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as needed.

- Supervises a staff of 15+

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree highly preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant
- Strong knowledge of U.S. income tax law.
- Ten plus years of experience in controllership roles.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to personally review detail level transactions.
- Proficient use of MS Excel.
- Familiarity with Dynamics Accounting program.
- High levels of English reading comprehension, writing, and speaking; active listening, critical thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting, reasoning, judgment, analysis, supervision, and evaluation.
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Frequently hear, talk, sit, grasp, and have repetitive use of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Occasionally stand.
- Intermittently stoop/bend, twist, crouch, kneel, crawl, walk on level and uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders, operate foot and hand controls, and squeeze.
- Constant use of computer.
- Occasional long or odd hours.
