Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Develop and maintain budgets for the engineering sites.
- Analyze cost variances and drive corrective actions
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to forecast financial needs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Support capital expenditure planning and tracking
Cost Control and Optimization:
- Develop KPI to measure performance and cost optimization
- Implement cost control measures to optimize expenses while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to track performance accurately.
- Perform financial analysis to assess project profitability, ROI, and financial health.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to align financial goals with project objectives.
- Provide financial guidance and support to Eng team, fostering a culture of financial responsibility and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Finance) preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control, preferably within a engineering environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, SAP, or similar systems.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
