Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Conventional Trailer Operator at Roll Group Middle East, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing transport operations, including mobilization and preparation of transport combinations.
• Ensuring the presence of all necessary documentation and identifying safety risks in the workplace.
• Safely operating heavy transport trucks, conventional trailers, and other means of transport.
• Following industry-recognized signals and practices for load movement.
• Performing and checking rigging and lashing to ensure safe transport of personnel, load, and equipment.
• Compliance with established safety regulations, both internally and externally.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with trailers.
• Utilizing basic knowledge of engineering drawings/sketches to ensure load compliance.
• Assisting with jacking, pumping, carriage, winch, and related tasks before, during, and after movement.
• Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifying necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Completing and managing administrative tasks such as consignment notes and weekly statements.
• Performing other related duties as necessary or assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in transport operations, rigging operations, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and situational awareness skills.
• Knowledge and competency related to transportation under regional governing agencies. Valid driver’s license through the local jurisdiction.
