Job Title:

Cook (Pakistani Food) – Labour Camp / Company Kitchen

Job Purpose:

To prepare and cook daily meals for labour/staff, specializing in Pakistani cuisine, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and timely service in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Pakistani dishes (e.g., curries, daal, sabzi, biryani, chapati/roti, paratha, etc.).
  • Plan daily menus based on available ingredients and dietary needs of staff.
  • Ensure food is prepared in large quantities (batch cooking) for labour/staff meals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area at all times.
  • Properly store food ingredients and monitor stock levels.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Minimize food wastage and control portion sizes.
  • Assist in purchasing groceries and kitchen supplies when required.
  • Work in coordination with camp boss/admin for meal timings and staff requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience in cooking Pakistani food in large quantities (mess or labour camp experience preferred).
  • Ability to manage time and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
  • Teamwork and adaptability.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Cook, preferably in labour camps, staff cafeterias, or restaurants.
  • Specialization in Pakistani cuisine is a must.
  • Basic communication skills in Urdu/Hindi (English/Arabic is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
