1. Kitchen Hygiene: - Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. - Implementing and maintaining proper sanitation standards. - Overseeing the proper storage and handling of food products to prevent contamination.

2. Expiry Dates: - Monitoring and managing the expiration dates of all food items. - Rotating stock to ensure that older items are used first. - Keeping accurate records of food expiration dates and properly disposing of expired items.

3. Cooking Meat: - Preparing and cooking meat dishes according to established recipes and food safety guidelines. - Ensuring that all meats are cooked to the proper temperature to guarantee food safety. - Monitoring and maintaining appropriate cooking equipment and tools.

4. Inventory Management: - Managing inventory levels and placing orders for food and kitchen supplies as needed. - Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies. - Organizing and arranging storage to optimize space and facilitate efficient workflow.

5. Compliance: - Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. - Ensuring that all kitchen staff are trained in proper food handling and hygiene practices.

6. Communication: - Collaborating with kitchen staff and management to maintain a smooth and efficient operation. - Communicating effectively with suppliers and vendors to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.

Qualifications: - Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices. - Knowledge of proper food handling and cooking techniques, particularly in relation to meat. - Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate well with team members.
