Location: 685 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10017

Hourly Rate: $28 - $30 per hour

Employment Type: Temporary, 6-month contract, with the possibility of temp to perm

Schedule: 5 days a week, Monday through Friday

About the Role:

The Onboarding Operations Coordinator supports critical components of the onboarding process that ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely completion of required tasks for new hires. This role focuses on administrative aspects of DocGo’s new hire onboarding process. By owning key recurring tasks, the Coordinator will help maintain efficiency, consistency, and operational readiness across markets, while contributing to the development of a clear career progression path within the onboarding team.

Responsibilities:

The Onboarding Operations Coordinator role includes the following primary responsibilities, with additional duties as assigned:

Onboarding Administration & Compliance

  • Conduct I-9 verification calls and ensure timely completion of I-9 tasks.
  • Manage new hire administrative tasks including payment elections, wage forms, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor and complete weekly credential audits in alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Support completion and review of New Hire Forms as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate documentation across HR systems (e.g., Workday, Checkr) and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


Process Support & Efficiency

  • Execute recurring tasks to free up Onboarding Specialists for higher-value activities (candidate communication, stakeholder updates, process improvement).
  • Track task completion and escalate issues or delays to the appropriate Onboarding Specialist or manager.
  • Contribute to process consistency by documenting workflows and supporting updates to SOPs.

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Partner with Onboarding Specialists, Credentialing, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure smooth task completion.
  • Provide administrative coverage to maintain team efficiency when Specialists are training new hires, developing SOPs, or out of office.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities to ensure continuity across core onboarding processes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

The Onboarding Operations Coordinator should possess the following qualifications:

  • 0-2+ years of experience in human resources (HR), onboarding, talent acquisition/recruiting, compliance or related roles in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple recurring tasks with accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Comfort navigating HR and compliance systems (Workday and Checkr preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Commitment to ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience.
