Coordinator, Security Shift III

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

 Shift Management

 Supervise and coordinate security staff during the shift.

 Ensure smooth handover and takeover between shifts with proper documentation.

 Assign duties, patrol areas, and monitor staff performance.

 Security Operations

 Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.

 Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.

 Enforce company security policies and procedures.

 Maintain logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports

 Leadership & Supervision

 Provide guidance, training, and support to security officers.

 Conduct roll calls, inspections, and briefings.

 Report on disciplines on performance issues to management

 Incident & Emergency Response

 Act as first responder to security incidents and emergencies.

 Coordinate with external emergency services when required.

 Ensure incidents are documented and escalated appropriately

 Compliance & Reporting

 Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security requirements.

 Prepare and submit shift reports to the Security Supervisor/Manager.

 Maintain accurate records of access control, incidents, and patrols.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • Minimum of 5 or 7 years (depending on the level of education as stated above) of security experience in a industrial environment
  • High A certificate (1 yr) in any security discipline and 5 years of relevant security experience
  • Or secondary school education with at least 7 years of relevant security experience
  • Verbal and written communication in English language must be on an advanced level.
  • First aid / CPR qualified
  • Firefighting Level 2

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years security experience on senior level, preferably in oil/gas/water industry.

Previous military/law enforcement experience would be an advantage
