Role overview
You will write clear, persuasive copy that drives qualified leads for home builders. You will produce website pages, blogs, Google Business posts, and cold emails. You will use AI tools to draft, refine, and scale content without losing voice or accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Write website copy for home builder sites. Pages include home, services, about, location pages, landing pages, and CTAs.
- Plan and produce blog posts that follow on page SEO best practices. Include internal links, meta titles and descriptions, headers, alt text, and clear calls to action.
- Write Google Business posts that support local keywords, promotions, events, and project spotlights.
- Draft cold email sequences that are compliant, targeted, and measurable.
- Create long form assets such as E books, guides, checklists, and case studies.
- Build simple content briefs from keyword research and brand guidelines.
- Adapt tone by client segment. Custom home, remodel, multifamily, light commercial.
- Collaborate with designers and account managers in ClickUp. Track tasks, due dates, revisions, and approvals.
- Use GoHighLevel, Claude Pro, and ChatGPT Pro to accelerate outlines, first drafts, variations, and QA.
- Follow and maintain interlink maps and content calendars.
- Fact check claims. Cite sources. Align with brand voice and compliance.
- Measure impact. Write with clear goals. CTR, time on page, conversions.
Minimum requirements
- Proven copywriting samples for websites and blogs.
- Working knowledge of AI prompting to generate and edit drafts.
- Solid grasp of SEO basics. Keyword intent, on page structure, internal linking, and meta data.
- Clear, concise writing. Strong editing and proofreading.
- Comfortable in ClickUp or similar project management tools.
- Reliable internet and ability to work 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
Nice to have
- Experience writing for home builders, remodelers, or trades.
- Familiarity with GoHighLevel, Google Business Profiles, Google Docs, WordPress or Webflow CMS.
- Basic understanding of JobTread or construction management workflows.
- Simple image sourcing and formatting for blogs.

- Access to required project management, docs, and CMS tools.

Compensation
