ALLEN Online, the digital learning platform from the legacy of ALLEN Career Institute, is looking
for a dynamic copywriter who can turn product features into engaging, conversion-driven
narratives.
You’ll write for the website, app, and various user journeys that influence discovery,
engagement, and conversion, making complex education products simple, exciting, and
relatable.
Key responsibilities:
- Website & app merchandising: Write high-conversion copy for course pages, banners,
and in-app sections.
- User journey copies: Craft contextual, action-oriented copy across onboarding, lead
conversion, and payment journeys.
- UI/UX writing: Collaborate with product, marketing & design teams to develop clear,
concise, and user-friendly interface text (buttons, tooltips, pop-ups, CTAs).
- Tailor messaging and tone based on audience cohorts: Hinglish vs English, parent
vs student, and Tier 1 vs Tier 3 regions.
- Product communications: Translate product features into benefits-driven messaging
for web, app, video, and other channels.
- Microcopy creation: Build tone-consistent UI microcopy — labels, prompts, alerts, error
messages — to guide users intuitively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product managers, UX designers, and
marketers to align content with business goals and brand tone.
- Research & insights: Understand user behaviour, friction points, and optimise
communication for clarity and conversion.
Required skills & qualifications:
- 4–5 years of experience in writing for digital products, apps, or websites.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to simplify complex journeys
through copy.
- Proven experience in conversion-focused and UX microcopy.
- Excellent command of English & Hindi, with the ability to adapt tone for students and
parents.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and tech teams.
- Exposure to ed-tech, e-commerce, or app-based platforms preferred.
