Scope and responsibilities


The Corporate Accounting Manager serves as a critical lead within the Corporate Accounting Department, providing high-level operational and procedural oversight. This role is responsible for the integrity of General Partner (GP) revenue reporting and the accuracy of complex financial data across multiple fund structures. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical accounting policy and day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP while driving process efficiencies during a key Workday system implementation


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

General Ledger Analysis

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all revenue related financial statement footnote disclosures.

  • Perform quarterly reconciliations between non-GAAP and GAAP results, providing deep-dive analysis on management fees, investment income, and incentive earnings/compensation.

  • Facilitate the month-end and quarter-end close by managing the roll-forward of all reporting schedules and ensuring data integrity.

  • Conduct specialized financial analyses and variance reporting to support monthly and quarterly management decision-making.

  • Performing detailed analysis of fee agreements and ensuring appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with accounting standards

Revenue & Cash Management

  • Manage and review daily cash postings and supporting documentation, with a primary focus on General Partner revenue streams including management fees, investment income, and incentive income.

  • Own and maintain detailed tracking schedules for all revenue categories and related balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate general ledger postings

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems

  • Partner with International Accounting, Fund Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and specialized internal teams to reconcile cash flows and ensure global alignment with GAAP results.

  • Act as a functional lead for the Workday Financials system, specifically optimizing the system for revenue stream automation and reporting.

  • Execute and monitor key internal control processes to maintain a robust compliance environment and support audit readiness.

Experience required

  • 5+ years of accounting experience

  • Ability to work in a team environment and corroborate with team members

  • Strong reconciliation and analysis skills

  • Ability to understand and resolve complex problems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Ensures compliance with corporate financial standards and internal control requirements

  • Experience with Workday financials is a plus
