Corporate Affairs Executive

Purpose

To support the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SECP, SBP, and other relevant authorities, and to assist in managing board matters and corporate governance functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements (SECP, SBP, Companies Act, etc.).
  • Support in organizing and coordinating Board of Directors and Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, board packs, and minutes.
  • Maintain and update statutory books, records, and registers in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in filing statutory returns, forms, and disclosures with SECP, SBP, and other regulatory bodies within stipulated timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for regulatory submissions and documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record‑keeping of board resolutions, shareholders’ resolutions, and corporate documents.
  • Support in shareholding and capital management records, including transfer, allotment, and registration processes.
  • Assist in handling corporate correspondences with regulators, auditors
  • Monitor updates in regulatory frameworks and assist in implementing necessary compliance actions.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for corporate governance and compliance matters.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Law, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field); relevant professional qualification preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial or compliance functions in a financial Institutions.
  • Familiarity with SECP, SBP regulations, and corporate governance practices.
