Summary: Seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join the Office of the General Counsel of The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. This position will report to the General Counsel and will provide day-to-day legal support in the areas of non-profit transactions and governance, corporate/regulatory compliance and other general corporate matters that are unique to large-scale, tax-exempt organizations. The Corporate Counsel will play a key role in supporting board governance and corporate operations, including risk management, and will support the General Counsel from time-to-time on other legal matters affecting the agency and its affiliates (including contracts/negotiations, labor and employment matters and litigation management).

Nonprofit Governance & Corporate Matters
Together with the General Counsel and Corporate Paralegal, support corporate transactions and governance for CCNY and assigned affiliated entities, including:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating routine contracts and other agreements (e.g. NDAs, MOUs, vendor and professional services agreements, inter-company agreements, leases)
