The Role

We are hiring a Corporate Development Associate or Manager to support investor relations, capital planning, and strategic transactions. You will help shape NymCard’s growth agenda by maintaining investor communications, building financial and market models, and running diligence and deal execution with internal and external stakeholders.


The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable owning workstreams that require confidentiality and precision .


What You’ll Be Doing

Investor relations and communications

  • Maintain a regular update cadence with current and prospective investors
  • Prepare investor updates, fundraising materials, board packets, and data room content
  • Coordinate diligence responses and manage document requests and timelines

Capital planning and strategic finance

  • Build and maintain operating and scenario models for planning and resource allocation
  • Support capital structure analysis, runway and liquidity planning, and treasury coordination
  • Model fundraising scenarios and support term sheet, cap table, and dilution analysis

Transactions

  • Run workstreams for M&A, minority investments, or strategic partnerships from screening through close
  • Perform valuations using DCF, trading comps, and precedent transactions
  • Coordinate cross functional inputs with finance, legal, tax, and external advisors

Market intelligence and strategy

  • Track industry trends including scheme and regulatory developments and competitor moves
  • Build target lists, score opportunities, and maintain a pipeline view with status and next steps
  • Prepare concise briefings for leadership with options, risks, and recommendations

Governance, cadence, and tooling

  • Maintain artifacts for approvals and decision logs and post close integration plans
  • Keep data rooms clean and current, manage NDAs and document control
  • Improve templates, models, and trackers to make repeatable work faster and more reliable


Your Background

  • 5 to 8 years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or strategy consulting
  • Strong financial modeling skills including three statement models, scenarios, and valuation methods
  • Experience owning workstreams for M&A, capital raises, or strategic projects
  • Clear written and verbal communication with exposure to C level and investor audiences
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and comfort handling confidential information
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with virtual data rooms and collaboration tools
  • Ability to work to tight timelines, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive closure


Bonus Points

  • Fintech or payments experience and knowledge of issuing, acquiring, or scheme dynamics
  • Experience in the GCC and MENA markets
  • Professional credentials such as CFA or MBA
  • Working proficiency in Arabic
