Corporate Director of Human Resources, In-Office, five days

The Corporate Director of Human Resources is an executive leader responsible for defining and executing the company’s people strategy in alignment with business objectives and growth plans. As a member of the leadership team, this role oversees all HR functions, including talent strategy, organizational development, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, total rewards, and culture.
This individual serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent while maintaining a compliant and inclusive workplace. The role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution to build a scalable HR infrastructure that supports ongoing growth.
Key Objectives

Develop and execute a company-wide human strategy aligned with business goals and culture

Build and scale HR systems, processes, and policies to support growth and operational efficiency

Lead compensation, benefits, and incentive strategies across the organization

Advise executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning

Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that drives engagement and accountability
Primary Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across all HR functions in alignment with business priorities

Partner with the CEO and leadership team on organizational planning, leadership development, and change management

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, performance, and offboarding

Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations; lead investigations and risk mitigation efforts

Coach senior leaders on performance management, employee relations, and team effectiveness

Establish and track HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions

Partner with finance on compensation planning, salary reviews, and benefits strategy

Evaluate and manage HR systems, vendors, and external partners

Oversee HR documentation, including policies, handbooks, and governance frameworks

Oversee talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and employer branding initiatives
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)

8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5+ years in senior leadership

Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices

Proven ability to build and scale HR functions in growth environments

Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills

Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives to business outcomes

High level of integrity and discretion

Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office; ADP experience preferred

Experience managing compensation and benefits programs, including vendor negotiations
Preferred Qualifications

SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification
-
Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state workforces
-
Background in staffing, services, or other labor-intensive industries
-
Experience partnering with executive teams, boards, or private equity stakeholders
