Chemours is seeking a Talent & Organizational Development Director to join our growing Human Resources team. This hybrid position will be available at the Wilmington, DE office and report directly to the Vice President of Organization & Talent Development.

This role designs, implements, and optimizes programs and processes that enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce performance, culture and employee engagement. The role ensures alignment between business strategy and people practices to drive sustainable performance and growth. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to shape Chemours’ talent landscape at a global scale, with significant influence over the company’s ongoing growth and transformation. This is a player coach role, with team leadership responsibility. Current direct reports: Talent Management Specialist. Team is growing and will include three direct reports.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversee ongoing optimization of annual performance management process including goal setting, culture of continuous feedback, ratings and review.
  • Own talent management processes including mid-year talent review to inform Individual Development Plans, succession planning and workforce planning. Analyze people capability data; create strategies and tactics to drive improvement.
  • Lead organizational effectiveness by serving as organizational design expert, defining skill-based competencies, culture value behaviors and assessment strategies to identify development opportunities. Develop career pathing as part of Workday Career Hub and Talent Marketplace activation.
  • Lead employee experience and culture to include employee engagement, Inclusion Diversity & Equity, Employee Resource Groups and Orange Book Ambassadors. A critical priority will include establishing an organizational listening strategy and platform to action employee engagement opportunities.
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects related to talent management and organizational development, from conceptualization to execution and post-implementation review.
  • Proactively introduce innovative practices to enhance Chemours’ talent strategy and competitive positioning.
  • Lead strategic sourcing, selection, and management of third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Facilitate workshops and team-building sessions as needed.

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive talent and organization development experience within complex and agile organizations.
  • Experience developing and managing large-scale projects and programs in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience working in global, multi-site organizations.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with proven ability to influence and engage senior leaders.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis/reporting.

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior consulting experience, with ability to advise on organizational design and development.
  • Hands-on experience using Workday or similar HRIS platforms.

$177,811.00 - $277,830.00

Annual Stock Amount

65,000.00 USD

The pay range and incentives listed above is a general guideline based on the primary location of this job only and not a guarantee of total compensation. Factors considered in extending a compensation offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data. The incentive pay is dependent on business results and individual performance and subject to the terms and conditions of the specific plans.
