Corporate Finance Associate

We are seeking a Corporate Finance Associate with 2+ years of corporate finance experience, ideally within the real estate industry, a REIT, or other institutional real estate environment. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and supporting strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting foundation, and has transitioned into an analytical or finance-focused role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models used for budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio analysis
• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecast cycles, and variance reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports, ensuring alignment between management reporting and GAAP results
• Evaluate property- and portfolio-level performance, including NOI trends, leasing metrics, and operating expenses
• Partner with accounting, asset management, and operations to ensure accurate financial data and reporting
• Extract, validate, and analyze data from Entrata and produce dashboards and KPIs in Domo and/or Power BI
• Identify and support improvements to reporting processes, financial tools, and data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial/public accounting
• Experience with REITs or multifamily real estate preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
• CFA or CPA a plus
• Experience with Entrata (or similar property management systems) and Domo / Power BI (or similar BI systems) preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
