1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans for the holding company and subsidiaries.• Monitor group-wide financial performance and recommend corrective actions.• Analyze financial data and market trends to provide insights for decision-making.
2. Backdated Financial Records
- Responsible for building historical financial records from scratch for all entities• This involves gathering data, creating ledgers, and establishing audit-compliant financial archives.• Work on historical financial data from the scratch, ensuring that all records are accurately reconstructed and updated from the scratch.
2. Consolidation & Reporting
- Oversee financial consolidation of subsidiaries across different regions.• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of group financial statements.• Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and the Board.
3. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).• Monitor adherence to tax, audit, and legal requirements across all subsidiaries.• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external advisors.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage group liquidity, treasury operations, and working capital.• Oversee intercompany transactions, loan arrangements, and fund allocations.• Optimize cost structures and control expenses across the group.
5. Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Identify financial risks and establish internal control systems.• Conduct periodic financial reviews and audits to detect inefficiencies or irregularities.• Recommend risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
6. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise finance staff at the holding level; provide guidance and support to subsidiary finance teams.• Collaborate with CEOs/Managers of subsidiaries to align financial policies and procedures.• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical financial management.
7. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all functions and workflows under their responsibility.• Ensure SOPs are aligned with company policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.• Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect operational changes, improvements, or regulatory updates.• Ensure team members are trained on and consistently follow the SOPs.• Collaborate with the Internal Auditor and CEO for review and approval of SOPs.
