Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Corporate legal associate to join our team. This role will support the company’s corporate, commercial, and compliance matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, assisting with corporate governance, supporting transactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Corporate Legal Associate will collaborate across business units, provide practical legal guidance, and help mitigate risks while enabling business growth.

Location: New York

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting, Reviewing, and Revising Legal Documents: Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and revising various legal documents in the U.S. region; identifying, controlling, and preventing potential legal risks in company operations; and providing risk mitigation advice to ensure effective legal support for business operations.
  • Legal Affairs Management: Handle negotiations, mediations, litigation, and arbitration related to the company’s legal matters, and provide daily legal support to business departments.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Dispute Resolution: Oversee the processing of required licenses and permits for the company and store operations, manage intellectual property infringement issues, labor disputes, and franchise-related legal matters.
  • Legal Research and Training: Conduct research on the latest legal and regulatory developments in the industry, and provide periodic legal compliance training to business teams.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, with an educational background in U.S. law.
  • 2+ related years preferred
  • Proficient in the use of office software.
  • Familiar with the U.S. legal system and professional legal research websites, with strong skills in legal research, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, capable of independently liaising with external law firms to carry out routine work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
