Corporate Legal Counsel

🚀 We’re hiring: Corporate Legal Counsel (Remote | Preferably Pune)

Oyster Shield is growing, and we’re looking for a Corporate Legal Counsel to join our global legal operations team.

This is a remote role , ideally based in Pune , working with private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) backed companies , as well as fast-growing organisations , across the Europe, UK, US and India.

You’ll work at the intersection of law, business, and operations , supporting software-driven organisations on:

• SaaS and technology contracts
• Commercial negotiations and deal support
• Privacy, data protection (including GDPR), and compliance
• ESG and governance initiatives
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations

At Oyster Shield, we don’t operate like a traditional legal function. We act as business operators , helping PE and VC-backed companies scale, professionalise, and prepare for growth, investment, and exit.

, giving this role exposure to modern, AI-enabled legal operations and process design.

📍 Location: Remote in India (preference for Pune)

⚖️ Experience: 5+ years PQE (LLB; international exposure a plus)

🌍 Languages: English required; any additional European language is a strong plus
