Job Scope

As a Corporate Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing purchasing strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality in the procurement of goods and services. You will be also responsible for driving strategic sourcing, vendor governance, compliance, cost optimization, and procurement systems oversight. You will ensure alignment with corporate standards and deliver measurable value to the organization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Sourcing and Vendor Management
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, performance evaluations, and regular vendor reviews to maintain high standards of service and compliance.
Contract Negotiation
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of service with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage master service agreements (MSAs), pricing terms, and risk-mitigating contractual structures.
  • Review and finalize contract terms, service level agreements, and procurement agreements to protect the interests of the organization.
Procurement Process Optimization
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline the procurement process, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs, analyze spending patterns, and identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
Quality Control and Compliance
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of procured goods and services with hotel standards, industry regulations, and sustainability requirements.
  • Conduct quality inspections, product testing, and supplier audits to assess compliance with specifications and maintain quality assurance.
Budgeting and Cost Management
  • Develop procurement budgets, cost forecasts, and spending plans to align procurement activities with financial goals and budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor procurement expenditures, track cost variances, and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize procurement spending and maximize value.
Risk Management and Supplier Relationships
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and vendor performance issues, to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, resolve disputes, and collaborate on strategic initiatives to enhance supplier partnerships and drive mutual value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Support operations, finance, legal, and project teams, including pre-opening and CAPEX procurement.
System & Reporting
  • Ensure the procurement system is properly configured, maintained, and fully utilized to support Adeera's operations, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor correct setup of vendors, item masters, approval workflows, pricing, and purchasing categories in the procurement system.
  • Drive maximum utilization of system functionalities to enhance efficiency, transparency, and control.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of procurement data to support management and corporate reporting.
  • Prepare and submit periodic procurement reports to Chief Financial Officer, including spend analysis, savings, supplier performance, and compliance reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field; certification in procurement or supply chain is a plus.
  • Previous experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in procurement software (preferably BirchStreet) and ERP systems. Experience in implementing procurement systems is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and strategic thinking for effective procurement decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and vendor relationship management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, sourcing strategies, and supply chain logistics.
  • Experience in Saudi Arabia and local content is essential.
