Feed Green Director

Job Title : Chief Green Fodder Officer


Location : HQ- Riyadh



Role Overview:


The Chief Green Fodder Officer is responsible for leading and optimizing the Company’s green fodder importation strategy, ensuring a reliable, high‑quality, and cost‑efficient supply to support the livestock and feed sectors. This role focuses on global sourcing, supplier management, logistics coordination, and compliance with national food‑security objectives. The CGFO plays a strategic role in strengthening the Company’s position as a key importer and distributor of fodder products.


Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Sourcing & Import Management

• Develop and execute the Company’s green fodder import strategy in alignment with national food‑security priorities.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with international suppliers to secure high‑quality fodder at competitive prices.

• Monitor global fodder markets, pricing trends, and supply risks to support proactive decision‑making.

• Ensure all imported fodder meets regulatory, nutritional, and quality standards.

Supply Chain & Logistics Oversight

• Oversee end‑to‑end logistics including shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and distribution.

• Coordinate with internal logistics teams and transport partners to ensure timely delivery across all regions.

• Optimize inventory levels to maintain continuous availability while minimizing storage and handling costs.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Implement quality control protocols for imported fodder across all handling stages.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, agricultural, and food‑security regulations.

• Collaborate with government entities and regulatory bodies as required.

Stakeholder & Market Engagement

• Build strong relationships with global suppliers, inspection agencies, and logistics partners.

• Work closely with livestock producers, feed distributors, and internal commercial teams to forecast demand and align supply.

• Represent the Company in industry events, trade missions, and international sourcing forums.

Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead and develop teams responsible for procurement, logistics, and quality assurance.

• Establish KPIs for supplier performance, cost efficiency, and supply reliability.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the fodder supply chain.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, or related field.

• 14+ years of experience.

• Proven experience in fodder importation, agricultural commodities trading, or global supply chain management.

• Strong understanding of international trade, logistics, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage complex supply chains and work in fast‑paced environments.
