The Corporate Supply Chain Head will be responsible for strategically leading and managing the entire supply chain operations of J7 Emporium, covering procurement, demand planning, vendor management, logistics, and administrative procurement. This role requires a highly experienced and visionary leader who can establish corporate-level standards, implement real-time digital systems, optimize costs, and ensure smooth cross-functional coordination with Finance, IT, Admin, and Project Divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Department Oversight
2. Define and implement overall supply chain strategy aligned with corporate goals.
3. Lead, supervise, and build capacity of procurement, logistics, demand planning, and inventory teams.
4. Establish policies, SOPs, and compliance standards for all supply chain activities.
5. Ensure the supply chain function operates as a strategic business partner, not just an operational support.
6. Procurement & Vendor Management
7. Manage end-to-end procurement for construction materials, IT equipment, retail supplies, groceries, and administrative needs.
8. Develop and maintain long-term vendor relationships while ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and delivery.
9. Lead tendering processes, contract negotiations, and vendor evaluation frameworks.
10. Organize vendor meetings and ensure procurement is conducted in the best interest of the company.
11. Demand & Supply Planning
12. Conduct accurate forecasting for multi-department requirements, including projects, operations, and administration.
13. Align demand planning with project timelines and budget allocations.
14. Minimize stock-outs, wastage, and over-purchasing through effective planning.
15. Logistics, Inventory & Real-Time Tracking
16. Oversee logistics, warehousing, and inventory control for optimal resource utilization.
17. Implement and maintain ERP-based or automated dashboards for real-time tracking of requisitions, purchase orders, deliveries, and payments.
18. Ensure transparency and efficiency across all stages of the supply chain cycle.
Cost Optimization & Compliance:
19. Drive cost savings through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, strategic sourcing, and market benchmarking.
20. Ensure compliance with taxation, legal, and corporate governance standards in all procurement processes.
21. Introduce periodic audits and risk assessments to safeguard company interests.
22. Cross-Functional Collaboration
23. Collaborate with Finance for budgetary controls and timely payments.
24. Work with IT for digital solutions and procurement of hardware/software.
25. Support Admin in cost-efficient procurement of groceries and daily operational supplies.
26. Partner with Project and Engineering teams to ensure timely material supply for construction/operations.
27. Reporting & Corporate Communication
28. Present monthly, quarterly, and annual supply chain performance reports to CEO/Chairman.
29. Highlight risks, cost-saving opportunities, and vendor performance evaluations.
30. Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
Key Requirements:
1. Education & Certification
2. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
3. Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, CIPS, or Six Sigma preferred.
Experience:
1. Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management.
2. At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership/head role with proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.
3. Experience in large-scale projects, malls, retail chains, or multinational setups is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Strong expertise in procurement, demand planning, logistics, and inventory management.
2. Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or equivalent).
3. Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
4. Strong financial acumen with cost optimization and compliance knowledge.
5. Corporate-level communication and presentation skills.
6. Leadership ability to mentor and build a sustainable supply chain team.
7. High integrity, professional discipline, and ability to work under pressure.
Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Percentage reduction in procurement costs and operational expenses.
2. On-time availability of materials and supplies.
3. Vendor performance scores (quality, timeliness, reliability).
4. ERP/digital adoption across the supply chain.
5. Compliance adherence and audit results.
6. Team capacity-building and retention.
