As a key partner to Finance and Operations leadership, you will play a critical role in strengthening cost visibility, improving margins, and supporting business growth.

Develop and maintain standard costing models (labor, materials, overhead)

Analyze manufacturing variances and provide actionable recommendations

Support month-end close activities (inventory, COGS, production reporting)

Deliver margin and profitability analysis by product, customer, and program

Collaborate with Operations to ensure accurate BOMs and routings

Support cycle counts and physical inventory processes

Analyze inventory trends (turns, excess, obsolescence)

Ensure compliance with inventory controls in a regulated (FDA/ISO) environment

Partner with Sales and Program teams on quoting and pricing strategies

Evaluate financial impact of new product introductions (NPI)

Identify cost drivers and cost reduction opportunities

Improve cost accounting processes and internal controls

Support ERP system enhancements and optimization

Help build KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools for operational efficiency

Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies
-
Support internal/external audits and documentation

Maintain strong internal controls aligned with best practices

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
3–7 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing

Experience in medical device, life sciences, or regulated environments preferred

Strong expertise in:

Standard costing

Variance analysis

Inventory accounting

COGS and margin analysis

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
