COST ACCOUNTANT (Wood & Furniture Industry)

A leading industrial company specializing in wood and furniture manufacturing is seeking to hire a Cost Accountant to join its team in Saudi Arabia.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional Certification: Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Cost Professional (CCP), and Certified Professional Cost Accountant (CPCA) has a huge advantage.
• Professional Certification: Must be a registered member of Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA)
• Experience: With at least Three (3) - Five (5) years of relevant experience as a Cost Accountant in Wood or Furniture Industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial costing systems (Standard Costing / Job Order Costing)
• Ability to analyze direct and indirect costs
• Experience in preparing cost reports and variance analysis
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Preferably previously worked in Saudi Arabia
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED)

• Prepare and analyze production cost reports
• Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Accurately calculate the cost of finished products
• Support management in financial decision-making
