Job Title: Cost Control Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement cost control procedures to track project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.

· Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to support management in decision-making.

· Conduct quantity takeoff and estimation for materials, labor, and equipment to ensure accurate cost allocation.

· Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to measure project performance and productivity.

· Monitor and analyze project progress in relation to planned budgets and schedules, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.

· Coordinate with procurement, planning, and project management teams to optimize cost efficiency and resource utilization.

· Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring alignment with contract agreements and work progress.

· Assist in the preparation of cash flow projections and financial planning for ongoing and upcoming projects.

· Track and control change orders, variations, and claims to mitigate cost overruns and ensure contractual compliance.

· Conduct cost benchmarking and market analysis to improve project cost competitiveness.

· Ensure proper allocation of resources based on project needs and budget constraints.

· Support tendering and bid preparation by providing cost estimates and financial assessments.

· Liaise with project teams to ensure accurate cost data collection and reporting.

· Maintain updated records of all financial transactions, cost data, and budget revisions for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

· 5 years of experience in cost control for building construction projects, preferably in Dubai.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
