Cost Control Engineer (Civil Engineer)

The Cost Control Engineer will play a key role in monitoring project budgets, tracking actual costs, forecasting expenditures, and supporting the project team in maintaining financial control over the construction process. This role is vital to ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining project budgets and cost forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on project cost performance and progress.
  • Track expenditures against project budgets and report variances.
  • Support in the preparation of cost estimates during tender and execution phases.
  • Analyze cost trends and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • Assist in the preparation of cash flow and financial reports.
  • Review subcontractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with contracts.
  • Work closely with planning and procurement teams to validate and update cost data.
  • Ensure cost control procedures and policies are implemented effectively.
  • Prepare monthly cost reports and assist in project audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in cost control in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Solid understanding of construction project cost structures, methods, and financial controls.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and cost control tools like Primavera, ERP systems, or CCS Candy.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
