Cost Control Engineer – Façade / Aluminium & Glass Projects

Job Summary:

AL QASSIM ALUMINIUM AND GLASS is looking for an experienced Cost Control Engineer with strong background in façade, aluminium, glass, and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, controlling budgets, tracking material and labour expenses, and ensuring project profitability.

Only candidates with façade / construction project experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets
• Track material, labour, fabrication, installation, and subcontractor costs
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports
• Compare budget vs actual costs and identify variances
• Coordinate with Project Managers, QS, Procurement, Store, and Accounts teams
• Review invoices, LPOs, subcontractor bills, and site expenses
• Support project cash flow planning and profitability analysis
• Recommend cost-saving measures and improve cost efficiency
• Maintain project cost records and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in façade / aluminium / glass / construction industry
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, project costing, material control, labour cost, and subcontractor billing
• Experience in curtain wall, glazing, cladding, doors, and windows projects preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Good analytical, reporting, and coordination skills

Preferred:

• QS or Estimator background is an advantage
• Immediate joiners preferred

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
