Cost Control Engineer -MEP

1. Budgeting & Cost Planning

• Develop and maintain detailed budgets for MEP works.
• Prepare cost estimates during project planning and tendering stages.
• Forecast future costs based on progress and market trends.

2. Cost Monitoring & Reporting

• Track actual costs against budgeted figures.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and variance analyses.
• Provide financial updates to project stakeholders.

3. Invoice & Contract Review

• Validate subcontractor invoices and ensure alignment with contracts and work progress.
• Monitor procurement costs and ensure proper cost allocation.
• Assist in preparing payment certificates and reconciliations.

4. Change Management

• Evaluate cost implications of design changes and variations.
• Support the preparation of claims and change orders.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with MEP engineers, procurement, and planning teams.
• Attend project meetings to provide cost-related insights.
• Liaise with finance and commercial departments for reporting and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in cost control, preferably in MEP and high-rise projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., Primavera, SAP, MS Excel).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Contracting /Construction : 2 years (Preferred)
