The Cost Control Manager is responsible for ensuring that project activities are within the budget. He/she oversees the generation of project invoices, review and authorize general requests for procurement and purchase orders, review and approve requests for project resource hiring, and review and approve change requests. The Cost Control Manager plays a key role in monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
Budget Management

Monitor project expenditures and ensure activities are within the approved budget

Identify and analyze cost overruns or variances and recommend corrective actions

Develop and maintain cost control procedures to track and report project costs

Forecast project costs and provide regular updates to project stakeholders

Conduct cost-benefit analysis for project-related decisions
Financial Reporting

Prepare and present financial reports to project stakeholders

Maintain accurate records of project costs, invoices, and financial transactions

Collaborate with finance department to ensure accurate project cost accounting

Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost sheets
Change Management

Review and approve change requests, ensuring they are in line with project scope and budget.

Assess the impact of changes on project costs and timelines

Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to minimize scope changes.

Maintain a change log to track all approved and pending changes

Communicate changes to project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment
Procurement and Resource Management

Review and authorize general requests for procurement and purchase orders.

Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely delivery of project materials and services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration

5-7 years of proven experience in cost control, budget management, or financial analysis,
