Job Title: Cost Controller

Department: Finance / Operations

Reports to: Finance Manager / Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor budgets related to catering and food service operations.
  • Control costs of food, beverages, and operational supplies.
  • Track meal/event costing and ensure alignment with pricing standards.
  • Review purchase orders and invoices for compliance with contracts and budgets.
  • Analyze variances between actual and planned costs and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to minimizing waste and reducing unnecessary expenses.
  • Generate accurate periodic reports on procurement, materials, and labor costs.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, and Production teams to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Support in pricing and cost estimation for new contracts and events.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in cost control within the food or catering industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Good knowledge of inventory control and procurement practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to cost optimization.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
