Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control operational and project costs to ensure adherence to approved budgets
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Analyze expenses and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Review purchase requests, supplier invoices, and contracts for cost accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations departments
- Track inventory levels, consumption, and wastage (if applicable)
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and coding in the accounting system
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost audits
- Maintain proper documentation and internal controls
- Support management with cost-related recommendations and financial insights
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or in a similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems
- High attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and coordination skills
