Commercial Manager (Civil )

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager civil to join our construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have 10 years of proven experience in the UAE construction industry, with a strong understanding of billing procedures, commercial operations, contract administration, and cost management.

Note: Freshers and candidates without UAE construction industry experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and manage project billing (progress billing, final accounts, variations, and claims).
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of invoices to clients and follow up on payments.
• Coordinate with project managers, QS, finance, and procurement teams for commercial tracking.
• Analyze contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and ensure compliance.
• Monitor project costs, cash flows, and budget controls.
• Prepare cost-value reconciliations (CVRs) and monthly commercial reports.
• Handle subcontractor payments, billing validations, and reconciliation.
• Manage contractual correspondences, commercial documentation, and client negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, VAT regulations, and standard construction practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in a similar role within the construction industry (Mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, local construction laws, and billing standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar), and billing software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, PMP) are a plus.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
