Cost Controller

ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments. As Cost Control Manager, you will oversee and manage all related to cost control matters for the project.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Main descriptions of the job position:

• Handle with all const control matters, develop accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities with the goal of project completion within budgetary and financial objectives.
• Apply cost control strategies and procedures to ensure effective cost control management.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates reports, budget forecasts, and change proposals analysis to upper management and the Client.
• Analyze project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee the Application and Payments process to ensure accuracy and adherence to the contract.
• Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control processes, resulting in the delivery of the highest quality work to the client.
• Responsible for coordinating with other discipline managers in the team to provide direction to the consultant staff and foster a spirit of collaboration throughout the construction supervision services.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or Quantity Surveying discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Formal qualifications/affiliations to RICS, IQS or CIOB.
• Applicable Experience: over 7 years in project and construction management, particularly in mega construction projects.
• Understanding of construction, design and engineering principles.
• Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills
• Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
• Willingness to work in a multinational firm.

Additional requirements:

• Transferable Iqama in case non-Saudi.
• Based in Riyadh.
• Valid SCE membership.
