Job Title: Cost Controller – Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller to manage and monitor project costs for our building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, cost tracking, and ensuring financial efficiency across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and cost plans
• Track actual costs against budgets and identify variances
• Analyze project expenditures and recommend cost-saving measures
• Monitor material, labor, and subcontractor costs
• Prepare cost reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) for management
• Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and procurement teams
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment certificates
• Ensure proper cost allocation and coding
• Assist in forecasting project costs and cash flow
• Support in tendering and estimation processes when required
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller in a construction company (building projects preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Finance or related field
• Strong knowledge of construction cost control and budgeting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in UAE construction projects
• Knowledge of BOQ, contracts, and procurement processes
• Familiarity with cost control software/tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
