Role Overview

The Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring project costs, analyzing budgets, and ensuring financial efficiency across racing and engineering operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with technical and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and expenditures.
• Prepare cost reports and variance analyses for management.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to track resource usage.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Support financial planning and forecasting for racing projects.
• Assist with audits and provide cost-related documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, procurement, and expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred.
• 4–7 years of experience in cost control, project accounting, or financial analysis.
• Experience in automotive, engineering, or manufacturing industries is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
