Cost Engineer

Purpose of the Position:

Control Cost Forecasting Activities.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Cost to Complete of awarded Insulation, Scaffolding, Refractory, Paining & Fireproofing Projects & cost forecasting activities.
2. Prepare estimation reports.
3. Support to determine resource allocation.
4. Anticipate potential risks and devise solutions to prevent them.
5. Develop strategies to improve project profitability.
6. Create & adjust budgets for projects.
7. Contribute to time allocation & management of project schedules.
8. Adjust estimations & outcomes based on changing requirements.
9. Assess completed projects to find areas of improvement.
10. Undertake any other related responsibilities assigned.

Professional Qualifications & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Engineering with 2 – 4 relevant years' experience. Certification in Planning/Cost Management/Estimating/Scheduling is preferred. SCE Registration (Saudi Council of Engineers) is required.

Computing/Special Skills Required:

MS-Office Excel, MS-Office Word & MS-Office Outlook. Has Working knowledge of ERP software. Knowledge of Planning & Project Management-related software is preferred.

Knowledge of Languages Required:

English at Professional level is essential. Conversational Arabic is desirable.
