Role : Cost Engineer
Work Location : Eastern Region _Saudi Arabia
The role focuses on executing budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Preparation:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, incorporating accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather precise data for budget planning.
- Analyze historical cost data and market trends to establish realistic and achievable budget targets.
Cost Monitoring and Control:
- Track and monitor project expenditures, comparing actual costs to budgeted figures, and addressing any variances.
- Conduct cost trend analysis, risk identification, and explore cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, including forecasts, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure effective implementation of cost control measures in coordination with project managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil).
- 6-15 years of experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis methodologies.
- Skilled in using cost control software, project management tools, and budgeting systems.
