Role : Cost Engineer

Work Location : Eastern Region _Saudi Arabia

The role focuses on executing budgeting, cost control, and financial planning for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Preparation:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, incorporating accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to gather precise data for budget planning.
• Analyze historical cost data and market trends to establish realistic and achievable budget targets.

Cost Monitoring and Control:

• Track and monitor project expenditures, comparing actual costs to budgeted figures, and addressing any variances.
• Conduct cost trend analysis, risk identification, and explore cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, including forecasts, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
• Ensure effective implementation of cost control measures in coordination with project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Civil).
• 6-15 years of experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis methodologies.
• Skilled in using cost control software, project management tools, and budgeting systems.
