Costing Assistant Specialist

We are looking for a Costing Assistant Specialist to work closely with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to develop accurate cost estimation models, ensuring pricing efficiency across various circumstances such as production volume and factory efficiency. This role ensures data tracking, reporting, and compliance with internal and external pricing protocols, will support the business in decision-making and negotiating cost-effective solutions while ensuring adherence to both local and global policies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

• Data and validations; Ensure data is consistent and complies with global costing standards. Validate data for accuracy and completeness.
• Accurately upload cost sheet data into the global costing system. Maintain and update cost data as needed.
• Analyze cost sheet data to identify cost drivers, trends, and fluctuations.
• Communicate with suppliers to clarify cost sheet details and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide costing support to sourcing teams during price negotiations with details and resolve discrepancies.
• Work with suppliers to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Gather and report on local market intelligence related to cost factors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• More than 2 years experience of working with quotation & garment cost calculation
• Textile background with knowledge of different costing models and supplier / factories business models
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in English
