Costing Engineer

Job Purpose:

Responsible for controlling, following up cost of products and monitoring the impact of modifications on products’ cost

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and update products, component cost
• Create cost estimate for new tenders
• Follow up and solve costing problems
• Analyze monthly production orders costing variance
• Perform continuous monitoring for consumables and products’ man hour
• Carry out the cost saving studies to minimize the cost of the products
• Update and follow up the cost saving plans
• Create budget cost for all products
• Study new project components cost with engineering and sales
• Provide feedback to the R&D team based on models costing study for items that could be used as alternatives
• Fulfill additional tasks as per job needs and as directed by line management

Job Skills and Abilities:

Qualifications:

• BSC in Mechanical Engineering is a must (production/power/mechatronics)
• 2 – 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing and assembly processes
