The opportunity:
The Counsel is an experienced litigation attorney who will work from our North Atlanta headquarters and be responsible for providing voluminous claim management and strategic litigation advice. In person 4 days per week with usual business hours. This team member will play a critical role in ensuring zealous representation of the company, both in defending and prosecuting commercial claims, personal injury, property damage, and collection disputes. Bankruptcy experience is a plus. A thorough understanding of court rules, procedures, relevant federal and state laws and regulations, and the ability to identify and manage legal risks and a case docket will be crucial to your success. Having first chaired depositions and court appearances is required. Having prepared for trial in at least a support role is required. Limited travel required. The relocation packet is unavailable.

Proven ability to operate independently, handling every phase of litigation and focusing on efficient resolutions. Must have handled depositions and court appearances as first chair.

Education and experience:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited college or university.

Bar admission in good standing in the U.S. is required, and the position is based in GA / not a remote opportunity.

Experience: 5-8 years of litigation experience focused on product liability or personal injury and insurance defense on the plaintiff or defense side.
