Join our Commercial Litigation team as a Counsel, Employment-Related Litigation! In this role, you’ll lead litigation strategy for a docket of employment and contractor lawsuits and arbitrations. As counsel, you will manage all aspects of threatened and actual litigation, including setting strategy, editing legal filings, managing discovery, supervising outside counsel, and collaborating closely with internal clients and partners. You will spot risks for remediation, identify emerging trends, and advise the company on legal rights and obligations. Exercising exceptional judgment and litigation skills, you will help the Company navigate a complex and changing legal landscape.

Developing legal strategies for employment and independent contractor lawsuits and arbitrations

Retaining and managing qualified outside counsel

Setting budgets and closely managing litigation expenses

Providing actionable, clear, and timely advice to internal clients

Recognizing operational risks and working with stakeholders to remediate them

Identifying emerging litigation trends, spotting issues across matters, and ensuring consistency of positions
What you’ll bring…- At least five years of experience in employment litigation and independent contractor disputes

Experience with arbitration procedures

Thought leadership thinking critically about the law, staying abreast of changes in the legal landscape, and contributing meaningfully to legal discourse and scholarship

Communicating complicated legal principles in a way that is easily understood and delivers decisive advice that can be acted upon by busy non-lawyers

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
