Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and confident Surgery Counsellor to guide patients through their surgical journey. The role involves explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed before surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel patients regarding eye surgeries (procedure details, benefits, risks, and recovery).
• Explain surgery packages, costs, and payment options clearly.
• Coordinate pre-operative investigations and documentation.
• Schedule surgery dates in coordination with doctors and OT team.
• Follow up with patients for surgery confirmation.
• Maintain proper counselling records and reports.
• Ensure a smooth and supportive patient experience.

Requirements

• Any Degree (Healthcare / Counselling / Marketing preferred).
• 1–3 years of hospital counselling or patient coordination experience.
• Strong communication and convincing skills.
• Empathetic, patient-friendly, and target-oriented approach.
