Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Counter Server to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, helping them enjoy a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food service, comfortable handling transactions, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and assemble menu items with attention to quality and presentation, including food prep and basic food handling.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including bussing tables and sanitation practices in line with food safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations.
• Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy periods and supporting team members as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail math is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
