Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety & Quality: Prioritize safety and quality throughout the programming process.
-
Efficiency & Assurance: Streamlining workflow meeting daily programming deadlines for production and reducing redundancies while monitoring output of error for inconsistency. This includes all sinks, appliances, and faucet specs.

Quality: Ensure programs comply with customer specifications, shop standards, and safety protocols.
-
Collaboration: Assist the template and/or shop foremen actively communicating and addressing discrepancies, special conditions, and concerns that may impact job installation or completion.

Tooling & Materials: Become knowledgeable of job-specific tools used in programming, including templates, CNC, fabrication equipment, and various materials.
-
Process Improvement: Help improve processes through feedback and suggestions. This includes efficiencies in templating, fabrication, and installation. Participate in ongoing trainings.

Documentation Review: Review all template paperwork in detail, seeking clarification from the PM or sales when needed. Providing accurate information to production team, including shop sheet, office sheets, cut sheets, and stickers. This includes all reprograms / recuts or changes.

Proactive Communication: Proactively communicate concerns that may impact job completion to the shop foreman, job pm, and department manager.

Environment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and work environment safely and cleanly, minimizing disturbance to other areas.

System Management: maintain an organized database of job files, CNC programs, and specs (appliance, sink, faucet)

Timeliness: complete programming tasks within project deadlines to ensure on-time production.

Feedback: Solicit and accept feedback from peers, other department leaders and management.

Strategic Thinking: Think critically, plan effectively, and envision innovative paths forward, while anticipating future challenges and opportunities.

Attention to Detail: Pay great attention to detail in all aspects of the job.

Team Player: Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to all areas as needed.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills Required:

Experience: Stone fabrication/manufacturing processes and tooling
-
Details: Strong attention to details and precision
-
Software Proficiency: CNC Programming software (Alpha Cam, AutoCad, Raptor or similar)

Equipment: Basic understanding of CNC machine operations and tooling
-
Understanding: Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints
-
Problem Solving Skills: Demonstrate ability to solve problems with minimal supervision

Tooling: Proficient in reading a tape measure
-
File Management: Ability to keep files and documents organized and placed efficiently.

Correspondence: Aptitude to clearly and effectively communicate within other areas of the process. (template, shop foreman, sales and design staff)

Work Habits: Self-motivated, consistent, reliable, dependable.

Versatility: Open to continuous improvements, new software and techniques.
Qualifications and Skills Preferred:

Experience: 2+ years working with natural and engineered stone materials

Safety: knowledge of safety protocols in stone fabrication environment

Pressure Handling: Thrive under pressure and juggle multiple tasks with finesse
