An important international company in the financial sector is looking for a Country Manager:


The main objective of the Country Manager position is to assume responsibility for ensuring the viability of the business and the achievement of the subsidiary's objectives through the management of its team. He plays a key role in the strategic direction and profitability of the subsidiary and is also responsible for establishing a positive business relationship with the airport management and third parties.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Budget Monitoring: Supervise and manage the subsidiary's budget, ensuring the control of expenses and the achievement of expected income. Identify areas for improvement in financial management.


  • Strategic Planning: Plan and implement strategic measures to achieve the objectives of the subsidiary, including growth and expansion strategies within the country. Evaluate market opportunities and establish action plans.


  • Operational Optimization: To make the company's operations profitable by introducing improvements in operational processes and seeking efficiencies in the management of human and material resources.


  • Treasury Management: Oversee the workplace treasury, ensuring efficient management of financial resources, including cash flow management and investment evaluation.


  • Analysis and Report Design: Optimize the performance of the subsidiary through the design and analysis of necessary reports, using the information collected to make informed decisions and anticipate trends.


  • Internal Organization: Establish an efficient internal organization to meet the deadlines established by official bodies and ensure regulatory compliance. Train staff on compliance issues and internal policies.


  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the country, evaluating the viability of new locations and market strategies. Develop and execute business plans.


  • Business Relations: Maintain effective relationships with business partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders to foster opportunities for collaboration and solve business challenges.


Requirements


  • University degree in business administration, finance or similar. Postgraduate degree is an asset.
  • Previous experience in management and leadership roles in the business field, the same sector is an asset.
  • Solid knowledge in budgeting, finance, strategic planning and operational management.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Advanced communication skills and ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Strong orientation to results and fulfillment of objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of rules and regulations applicable to the business.
  • Previous experience in business expansion and search for new opportunities.
  • High English.
