Country Operations Manager

About the Role

A leading regional retailer is seeking a senior executive to lead its operations across Saudi Arabia . This role offers full P&L accountability for the Kingdom, overseeing multi-city retail operations, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence across all stores. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to shape the strategy for one of the region’s most dynamic retail markets, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on market presence and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage retail operations across multiple locations in Saudi Arabia, ensuring consistent operational excellence.
• Assume full P&L responsibility for the market and develop strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify opportunities for expansion and new store openings, ensuring optimal location and alignment with brand strategy.
• Drive operational performance, including inventory management, customer experience, and compliance with local regulations.
• Build and develop high-performing teams, fostering leadership, succession planning, and Saudization targets.
• Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to tailor offerings to local market preferences.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to maintain competitive advantage.
• Represent the brand professionally in all market interactions with landlords, government authorities, and key partners.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15–20 years of progressive leadership experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in senior executive roles.
• Proven track record managing multi-city retail operations with full P&L accountability.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, regulatory environment, and consumer behavior.
• Experience driving expansion, opening new stores, and achieving profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in building and developing high-performing teams.
• MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Established networks with government, landlords, or retail partners in Saudi Arabia an advantage.
