The State of New Hampshire, Judicial Branch, 9th Circuit Court , has a part -time vacancy for Court Service Representative III. This position is assigned to a 9-step pay scale. Summary : The Court Services Representative Ill participates in the analysis and development of improved court management procedures, processes, and practices, with significant focus on e-filing initiatives. Serves as a court representative and business lead on select system-wide projects.

Works closely with e-filing vendors as necessary. Provides support to users on technological innovations by answering questions, making suggestions, and providing training, as directed.

Delivers training specific to technological innovations, as directed. Analyzes case flow management, case processing, and related functions in various courts and court departments.

Assists with developing processes, practices, and workflow. Evaluates and recommends improvements in clerical and case flow management policies, practices, procedures, and training. Develops and prepares statistical and other reports, as directed. Assists in the development and revision of processes, procedures, and forms as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience : Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university, with major course work in judicial, public or business administration or related field; and 5 years' experience in performing varied organization and management evaluation and improvement activities, two of which shall be in court or judicial areas, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the following knowledge, abilities and skills .

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of the modern theories, principles and practices of court management.

Knowledge of the theories, principles and practices of public sector organization and management. Knowledge of procedures and case flow analysis, work simplification and forms and records control. Knowledge of the principles and practices of fiscal administration and statistics.

Ability to critically analyze office and field operations, statistics, work production, flow or work, forms, records system and staff utilization .

Ability to prepare charts, layouts, forms, handbooks, memoranda and other media of information and instruction.

Ability to prepare reports and to present facts clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with court administrators, court employees, and the general public .

Experience writing procedures or technical manual writing. Experience gathering and reporting factual information .

Experience with the NHJB case management system is advantageous .

Other Requirements :
Successful completion of a background check, including a criminal records check .

Responsibilities: Performs analysis of court business processes, operating practices, procedures, record systems, forms, workflow, case flow, and various other phases of organization and administration, with a focus on quality, uniformity, and efficiency.

Serves as business lead for technological innovations by participating in business process reengineering and development, by participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and by performing user acceptance testing of new systems.

Conducts training sessions for court staff on court processes and procedures.

Develop methods to simplify or streamline work and make recommendations for corrective measures.

Designs and conducts studies involving the analysis and evaluation of data and prepares reports presenting recommended plans, programs, and policies. Prepares and revises manuals and other materials .
