Job Description: Crane Operator (Oil & Gas)Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Crane Operator with experience in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials, equipment, and heavy loads safely and efficiently while complying with company policies, industry standards, and site-specific safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile, crawler, rough terrain, or truck-mounted cranes safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance checks on crane equipment.
- Lift, move, and position heavy equipment, pipes, containers, structural steel, and other materials according to lift plans.
- Interpret load charts, lifting capacities, and rigging requirements.
- Work closely with riggers, signalers, supervisors, and other crew members to ensure safe lifting operations.
- Conduct critical lifts in accordance with approved lift plans and permit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
- Monitor weather and ground conditions to determine safe crane operations.
- Report equipment defects, incidents, and near misses promptly.
- Maintain accurate equipment inspection and operational records.
- Support shutdowns, maintenance projects, drilling operations, and construction activities as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Crane Operator Certification or License.
- Minimum 3–5 years of crane operating experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience working on offshore or onshore oil and gas projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of crane load charts, lifting techniques, and rigging practices.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
- Ability to work in demanding environments and rotating shifts.

- Forklift or Telehandler certification (advantageous).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb, bend, stand, and sit for extended periods.
- Good vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to lift up to company-required weight limits.
Working Conditions
- Onshore or offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Rotation schedules, extended shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Compliance with all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
Experience Required: Minimum 3–5 years of crane operating experience in the oil and gas sector.
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
