Crane Truck Driver (Zagre, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating the Crane: Manipulating levers and pedals to rotate the crane on the chassis, and raise or lower the boom and load-line safely.
• Driving/Transporting: Driving the vehicle to and from construction sites or delivery locations, managing safe transport of loads.
• Safety & Inspection: Conducting pre-operational inspections of the truck and crane (hydraulics, cables, brakes) and positioning outriggers to prevent, capsizing during lifting operations.
• Load Management: Calculating crane capacities and weight, reading, load charts, and following rigging signals from ground crews.
• Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance, such as checking oil, tires, and lubricating pulleys and machinery.
• Documentation: Filling out, daily logs, job tickets, and maintenance reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• License: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required, often with specific endorsements.
• Certification: Valid Crane Operator Certification (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent).
• Experience: Previous experience operating hydraulic boom trucks or similar heavy machinery.
• Skills: Strong understanding of, safety protocols, math skills for weight calculation, spatial awareness, and good communication with site personnel.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working at heights and in various, weather conditions.
• Capable of performing, physical tasks such as rigging loads or conducting maintenance.
